GPS & House Arrest Monitoring

GPS Ankle Monitors For Pretrial, Probation And Bail

Reliable 24/7 location tracking with curfews, exclusion zones and tamper alerts, from one-piece bracelets that are quick to install and hard to defeat.

How GPS Ankle Monitoring Works

A GPS ankle monitor reports the wearer's location around the clock. Supervising officers or bail agents set the rules in web-based software: where the person must be (inclusion zones like home or work), where they cannot go (exclusion zones like a victim's address), and when (curfews). When a rule is broken, or the device is tampered with, the system sends an alert.

Modern devices go far beyond traditional house arrest. The Omnilink OM500 combines GPS, Wi-Fi and an optional RF beacon to track indoors and verify in-home location, and the Geosatis ODIN-i V7 uses a strapless one-piece design that cuts false strap alarms.

  • 24/7 location history and live tracking
  • Inclusion zones, exclusion zones and curfews
  • Strap, backplate and water leak tamper detection
  • Tone, vibration and audio messages to the wearer
  • Court no-show and violation alerts

Who Uses GPS Ankle Monitoring

Courts and pretrial services use GPS monitoring as a condition of release, keeping defendants accountable without holding them in jail. Probation and community control programs use it to supervise offenders in the community. Bail agents use it to protect their bonds and accept clients they would otherwise decline. Defense attorneys and families often request it as a safer alternative to incarceration.
